SARAH PUNCH (DIRECTOR, SENIOR RMT)
Music Therapy Wellness Clinic (formerly Music Plus) was established in 2008 by Sarah Punch, a University of Queensland graduate with a Master of Music Therapy degree & background in voice performance. Sarah is empathetic and approachable, focused on delivering evidence-based music therapy intervention tailored specifically to each clients individual needs.
Sarah has previously been employed by The Royal Children's Hospital & Monash Health and has experience working with children and adults with a diverse range of needs including early intervention, ASD, disability, mental health, eating disorders, oncology, brain injury, palliative care, as well as dementia/aged care.
Sarah's passion for assisting people to achieve their health and wellness goals, and observation of the lack of experienced therapists in community services fuelled her departure from the inpatient medical setting and desire to re-launch the Music Therapy Wellness Clinic in 2015. She's excited to have relocated back and expanded the business to Brisbane in 2022 after 12 years in Melbourne.
